General introduction and background:

Very rare Fender Road Worn Player Strat, HSS configuration, in red. This is the model line with the 9,5’’ fretboard and jumbo frets. Seymour Duncan in the bridge position, Texas Specials in the others.

As always, the instrument has been serviced completely and is ready to be played immediately. But please read the description carefully!

Measurements, weight and other specs:

-Scale:  648 mm

-Nut: ca 4,15 mm

-Weight: 3,42 kg

-Pickups: Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker in the bridge position, measuring at 7,92K (PAF style), two Texas Special singlecoils (Middle 6,36K, Neck 5,99K). Normal Strat layout controls; the lower tone pot is a push-push and allows splitting of the humbucker.

-Body: alder

-Neck:  slim “modern C” maple, medium jumbo frets with a 9,5’’ fretboard.

Condition:

-Body: the guitar was originally shipped with artificial relic aging. Can’t say if there are new dings and dongs.

-Neck: good condition, trussrod works; frets in great condition, 9/10. No buzz, no fretting out.

-Head: good condition

-Electrics: works

-Originality: as far as I can tell, all original except for the coil split on the humbucker, which was added later.

Sound and Playability:

-Playability and string action: awesome comfortable playability with very low string action. The trem is set up to be flat on the body, but can be wiggled enough down. Set it up to your preferences as you wish.

-Sound: There is rarely a guitar that is more versatile than this. Please watch the video for a sound sample (it’s from the same model).    

Repairs, Service:

As always, the instrument has been serviced completely and is ready to be played immediately.

-Completely cleaned

-Frets polished and fretboard cleaned

-New all nickel 10 gauge Pyramid strings put on

-Setup concluded and ready to be played (just tune it up)

Auxiliary stuff:

-Fender gigbag included, not sure if it’s the original one to the guitar. The item will be wrapped well, and put into a sturdy cardboard box with lots of filler material. If you wish I can buy a fitting case or gigbag at your costs.

Please anticipate a shipping time of up to 8 weeks depending on your location. Tracking is provided immediately when shipped out within the system. AFTER DELIVERY: After receiving the item, please inspect the package for obvious damages and make photos if there are any. After unpacking, check the item immediately for damages or other undocumented flaws. I accept a 14 days return and will pay for shipping if the item is in a different condition than described upon arrival. Please note that I will only take the item back entirely, but not grant any reduction of price and generally only accept returns if the item was unaltered after arrival.

CITES protection: all of the items I sell have been legally imported to the EU before January 1st 2017 and are registered with the authorities in Hamburg, Germany (if applicable).
