Up for grabs is ONE pair of a new old stock (with packaging) Regal Tip 605SG (Goodman #5) Ultra Staccato Saul Goodman Timpani Mallets. These mallets are also called CP-605SG.

Small ball covered with two layers of tightly wound green felt. Maple shaft.

Measurements :

• Diameter of lower bout of shaft / stick: 0.580"
• Diameter of green felt area of ball: 1 and 1/4"
• Full Length: 14.5"

The CP-605SG (also called 605SG) Goodman # 5 is an ultra-staccato maple shaft mallet. It has a small ball covered with two layers of tightly wound green felt. Ideal for recording. A must for clean rhythmical articulation, especially on low tones.

I think that this model Regal Tip Mallet is discontinued. If so - I'm very glad that I have somehting you you are looking for (especailly in unused condition) !!

The mallets are in MINT condition. The packaging is in between Very Good and Good shape.

I got these mallets back in 2019 (even back then - they were in new old stock condition). NOTE: I was planning to sell them sooner - but was kind of busy. Finally getting a chance to sell them now.

The mallets are fine / unused condition.

But the packaging (paper part and the clear bag part) that has some visibe aging same some visible wear.

• The paper part of the packaging has some visible imperfections / wear on most of the corners and on some of the edges. The lower front right / lower back left corners each have a light - but visibe crease and some wear / some fading. The front lower left / back lower right corners each have light - but visible wear / light fading. The top edge have light fading. The lower left and lower rigth ares have some very small holes from when the packaing was stapled. And the main areas of the paper has some light - but visible curves / unevenness.
• The clear plastic baggie has aged / yellowed. It has several visible imperfections: some cloudiness, a lot of cloudy surface residue inside the bag, some discoloration, some creases, some uneveness, some nicks, several light scratches, and a few tiny holes.

NOTE: There may be a few minor imperfections that I overlooked. There maybe a few minor imperfections that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures. Also - there are some imperfections (glares, reflections. dust specks) that show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person.
