The sound bars of Yamaha classical guitars are based on the sound bar arrangement of the GRAND CONCERT CUSTOM, which has been researched for decades, and have been designed to improve tone and volume while taking advantage of the characteristics of the materials.

The number, length, position, angle, shape, and bridge reinforcement wood of the sound bars are designed so that the string vibration spreads from the top plate to the entire body and the high notes also sound good, so that the entire guitar resonates in a balanced way.

The coating is a necessary process for producing good sound, but it also plays a role in protecting the surface of the guitar. The CG series is coated with polyurethane, which produces a beautiful sound with a glossy finish and a long life, while also maintaining its quality that is resistant to the climate changes in Japan.
