**** Vox Climax vintage valve combo made in the Uk 1982.As the photos show the cosmetic condition is good, all controls are all working, and a powerful output. A very versatile amp with variable overdrive distortion and considerable tone range. Considered by many to look like an AC30 with 4 times the output (125w rms)2 x ECC83 (12AX7): Preamplifier valves.1 x ECC82 (12AU7): Preamp/driver valve.1 x ECC81 (12AT7): Phase inverter valve.4 x EL34 (6CA7): Matched power valves to produce the 125 watts of output.The control panel provides you with two inputs (normal and brilliant) a 'distortion' pot, pre-amp gain, and then an equalisation section offering cut and boost (individually on each pot) of 100Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1.5kHz and 2.3kHz giving you a very wide range of tonal control.. Next off we find a master volume pot and then two metal flick switches, one for mains, the other for standby.
