The Rickenbacker 360 12‑String C63 in Fireglo is a semi‑hollow electric guitar with a distinctly curved body and upper‑bout cutaway, finished in Rickenbacker's iconic Fireglo gloss that transitions from rich red at the edges to amber highlights toward the centre. Its body construction includes a maple top, back, and sides with a trapezoid soundhole design that contributes both to its visual identity and its resonant, chiming tone. The set‑neck maple neck is joined with precise craftsmanship, and the rosewood fingerboard features 21 frets with dot inlays and a 25.5″ scale length, promoting comfortable playability across both rhythm and lead parts.
Electronics on the 360 12‑String C63 consist of dual Rickenbacker single‑coil pickups — one at the neck and one at the bridge — each offering the brand's signature jangle and clarity that 12‑string guitars are known for. Controls include independent volume and tone knobs for each pickup and a three‑position pickup selector switch, giving access to classic bright, chiming sounds, warm blended tones, and midrange‑rich combinations. The 12‑string configuration naturally produces rich harmonic overtones and shimmering texture, making it ideal for styles that benefit from layered, orchestral‑like voicing.
Hardware includes a stable bridge and tailpiece system designed for balanced string tension, precise intonation, and reliable tuning across the extended 12‑string setup. Chrome‑finished tuning machines provide durability and smooth tuning action. The Fireglo finish, distinctive body shape, and bright, articulate sonic character make the Rickenbacker 360 12‑String C63 a standout instrument for players seeking classic jangle, dynamic presence, and visual flair.
