About this listing
The PRS SE Hollowbody Standard in McCarty Sunburst combines the warmth and resonance of a fully hollow electric guitar with the comfortable playability and versatile electronics PRS is known for.
This pre-owned example is offered in Very Good Condition and includes a hardcase.
All-Mahogany Hollowbody Construction
The SE Hollowbody Standard features all-mahogany hollowbody construction, giving it a warm, open and naturally resonant character.
Compared with a conventional solidbody, it has a more airy response that works especially well for jazz, blues, soul, indie and expressive clean or lower-gain playing.
PRS 58/15 “S” Humbuckers
A pair of PRS 58/15 “S” humbuckers delivers a balanced vintage-inspired voice with plenty of clarity.
The neck pickup provides smooth, rounded tones for jazz and blues, while the bridge adds extra definition and bite for rock, indie and overdriven lead sounds.
Controls are simple and intuitive:
Master volume
Master tone
3-way pickup selector
Comfortable PRS Playability
A mahogany set neck with PRS’s Wide Fat profile provides a substantial, comfortable feel.
The ebony fingerboard, PRS bird inlays, 10" radius and 25" scale length give the guitar a smooth and familiar PRS playing experience.

Fair Deal Music Verdict
The PRS SE Hollowbody Standard is a superb option for players looking for genuine hollowbody warmth without the size and feel of a traditional large-bodied jazz guitar.
Its combination of all-mahogany construction, ebony fingerboard, Wide Fat neck and 58/15 “S” humbuckers makes it versatile enough for jazz, blues, rock, indie, studio work and live performance.
