AKAI GX-600DB Reel to Reel Tape Recorder FULLY SERVICED + original NABS + Manual + RTMSM911

Recently serviced by ServiceSound, see condition description below. With original Nabs and New RTM SM911 1/4" that has been pancaked between the two Maxell vintage 35-180B reels as shown. No other / old tape has been used since the service.

I can provide copy Jan 2026 service invoice for complete overhaul and valet. Strip deck, dismounthead block, LH switch assembly and counter. Clean whole machine,clean off contaminated tape path, clean off old grease and lubricant,apply new lubricants, dismount capstan motor, clean pulleys andflywheel. Free off seized counter, fit new belts.Clean electronics, free offand clean seized controls, repair knobs, clean switches. Polish, degaussheads. Set-up machine for modern tape. Also, see photos.

There is scuffing to the left hand side wood panel and a small mark on the front wood below the record buttons, see photos
