A lovely vintage Martin 000-18 from 1960.

Widely regarded as one of Martin’s finest all-round models, the 000-18 combines the warmth and immediacy of mahogany with the balance and responsiveness of the 000 body size. This guitar has developed the dry, open and articulate voice that only comes with decades of ageing and playing.

The guitar is lightweight, highly resonant and exceptionally responsive under both flatpicking and fingerstyle. It has strong projection for a 000-sized instrument whilst retaining the clarity and balance that make these guitars such versatile performers.

The action is excellent and the guitar plays comfortably up and down the neck. There is still good saddle height remaining, giving confidence in the setup and future adjustability.

As far as I am aware, the guitar remains all original.

Condition is very good for a 66-year-old instrument, showing only the honest signs of use expected from a well-cared-for vintage guitar.
