Ashdown VS-115 Bass Cab

Ashdown VS-115 1x15 bass cabinet in full working order. This has been used alongside my Ashdown Touring 330 combo for rehearsals and gigs over the years and delivers the classic deep, punchy Ashdown low end.

I'm only selling because I've moved to an ampless setup, so it no longer gets used.

The cabinet has been recently tested and the speaker is working perfectly with no rattles or issues.

Condition

This is an honest, well-used gigging cabinet and has the expected cosmetic wear from years of transport and use, including:

• Scuffs, chips and marks to the covering
• Marks and wear to the grille cloth
• General cosmetic wear consistent with its age

The cabinet was stored in a garage that unfortunately experienced flooding. As a result, there is some cosmetic mould staining on the internal wooden baffle behind the grille and light staining on the speaker cone. The cabinet has been cleaned as thoroughly as possible, and the speaker has been fully tested and performs as it should. There is no visible external mould.

At some point the wooden grille frame cracked slightly in the centre (see photos). This caused the grille to sit unevenly, so it has been secured in place with screws, which are visible on the front of the cabinet. This is purely to keep the grille securely fitted and does not affect the operation or sound of the cabinet.

Overall, it's a solid, fully working cabinet with plenty of life left in it. Ideal for anyone looking to expand an Ashdown setup or put together a classic Ashdown rig.
