In incredibly good condition for the age. If you've been watching you'll know how rarely these amps come up for sale. This is the most desirable version, not only because it has cool metal knobs but also because there's no dodgy "distortion" circuit you find on the later models.
Everything works as it should.
The amp was substantially recapped in 2023.
Preamp valves include some vintage USA valves, power valves are 2 x JJ 6L6.
Works wonderfully with an attenuator and offers plenty of distortion, but can also deliver clean Fender tones. With a Two Notes Captor attenuating 20db I can easily get this to break up at living room volumes.
The really unique thing about these amps is the variable mid control that allows 12db of cut and boost at 300Hz, 1000Hz and 3000Hz making it possible to get a Fender mid scoop or a Marshall mid hump.
This is the same amp as the V4 but with a more manageable 60W and 23" wide rather than 26" which also means it fits contemporary Ampeg cabs.

Please note since this amp is all original (apart from replaced leaking caps) it runs at 110V.
