Pioneer CDJ-900 professional audio player FULLY SERVICED - new internal switches & cables

This is a Pioneer CDJ-900. Its the earlier non nexus version that has the retro VFD display rather than the colour LCD display on the later NXS.

Presumably if you're looking at this then you know what it does...

Its very common on these units for the tactile switches under the buttons to fail, leaving half the buttons only responding intermittently, and for the ribbon cables that connect the boards internally to start dying so it won't operate properly or even start up. This unit has been recently serviced and ALL of the tactile switches have been replaced whether they needed it or not, so its got a long life ahead of it before it needs any work. The internal ribbon cables that always fail sooner or later have also been replaced as a preventative measure. The unit has not been used since these upgrades were installed.

As you can see from the photos it has a few marks and scrapes here and there, and has been well used, but everything works perfectly. It could probably do with having all its nooks and crannies cleaned properly, but you probably won't find a CDJ900 unit in as good a condition in terms of the controls and button response.

The only minor annoyance is a missing vinyl speed adjust knob. Its still perfectly usable without the knob and theres a red mark added to show where its pointing, but given that Pioneer charge a psychotic amount just for a knob, i really couldn't be bothered to replace it. It still works fine and i not like you have to adjust that parameter a lot anyway.
It does still have the special CD eject tool stuck in its cavity in the bottom of the unit.

There no manual, or anything else with it other than the CDJ900 itself.
