Here for sale we have a Taylor NS-32ce Classical Electro-Acoustic guitar. Made in the US in 2002 this classical guitar features a bolt-on construction featuring Mahogany back and sides, Spruce top. Mahogany neck and 18 Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include an Ebony bridge and aftermarket 3 on the side open gear tuning machines. A Fishman preamp system is fitted with shoulder-mounted controls.

The Mahogany neck plays very well, with ‘D’ shaped neck profile providing a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. The Matte finish to the rear is pleasant to the touch and assists with navigation of the 25.5" scale. The nut width of 1.880" will feel familiar to classical players without putting off those who are more used to steel-string acoustics. Certainly, the strings are well-spaced for accurate fretting across the register. The Ebony fingerboard is particularly dark in appearance, and with a nice tight grain adds a sense of luxury to the playing experience whilst providing a smooth and durable playing surface. 

The voice of the Taylor NS-32ce is nicely gentle and balanced, delivering an open clarity on both melodic lines, fingerstyle and chordal playing. The low end is warm without being too soft, the mid range is clear and open, whilst the top end is nice and bright without sounding brittle. Equally at home as a solo instrument or part of an ensemble, the Taylor NS-32ce makes an excellent stage-partner for the seasoned classical musician and dabbling steel string player alike.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Very light indentations are present to the top edge of the headstock, the most apparent of these have lightly pierced the finish but does not expose the wood beneath.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. Two light indentations are present to the rear of the neck with one behind the 4th fret and one to the neck heel, these have lightly pierced the finish but do not expose the wood beneath.

Body: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is present to the front face of the body, these can only be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability.  There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable. Truss rod tool included.

Hardware: Overall very good condition. Behind the bridge to the center slight lifting is present, this remains structurally sound. The original tuning machines have been replaced and are included.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-3mm - Bass 3mm

Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height.

There is very light material remaining in the saddle for future adjustments.

Electrics: 

Moderate hissing can be heard when the guitar is plugged into an amplifier, we have been unable to remedy this. All controls are fully functional, 9v battery not included.

Case & Accessories

Taylor hard case.

Overall very good condition and fully functional. The exterior of the case displays speckles of paint and light scratching to the tolex.

Original paperwork and case keys included.
