This set of two official Fender Pure Vintage Preamp Tube Shields are spring loaded to keep the valve seated in its socket and the metal construction helps to dissipate heat and prevent frequency interference. The shields use a bayonet j slot design to securely fix it in place and are compatible with 12AX7, 12AY7, 12AT7 and other nine pin preamp tubes. These are available as a handy spare if you need to replace lost or damaged parts and fit most Fender tube amps.
