The Tama Speed Cobra 910 delivers the perfect balance of raw aggression, power, and lightning fast speed.

Taking inspiration from the Iron Cobra, the Tama Speed Cobra provides the perfect balance of raw aggression, power, and lightning fast speed.

The newly designed pedal takes features from the Iron Cobra, such as the Cobra Coil to assist the return of the footboard, and improves on them for increased speed, but without the loss of power which is so common in other designs of pedal.

The footboard has been redesigned to be longer for improved speed and stroke. The Super Spring works in conjunction with the Cobra Coil to lighten the start of the stroke while the Cobra Coil assists the return of the footboard for an overall feather light action.

The footboard has been recessed to balance the lighter action and the natural playing feel. The recessed position helps to prevent muscle fatigue and lessen the stress on the leg muscles. This is further enhanced by the redesigned FASTBALL bearings and framework structure.

An all-new projection beater has also been created specifically for the Speed Cobra. The beater surface has a wedge shaped contact area which can be angled to either create a punchy, focused tone, or a fat, powerful low-end.
