Not only are these pickups wax potted but they have an enamel-coated magnet wire in order to provide a pleasant warmth to the overall tonal response. Combined with the famous Alnico 5 magnets this set bring an added focus as well as enhanced dynamics. Staggered polepieces are also in place just like the pickups found on the originals as they balance out the volume and output across each of the 6 strings.
