Early Korean-made ESP LTD KH-202 from 2004 (serial W0408832). These first-generation Korean examples are generally preferred over the later Indonesian and Chinese versions for better overall quality and feel.
This one has been upgraded with a full set of EMG 81/81 active pickups, which is a big step up from the stock passive pickups. It delivers the classic tight, aggressive high-gain tone these guitars are known for.
• Basswood body
• Bolt-on maple neck
• Rosewood fingerboard with skull & crossbones inlays
• 24 extra-jumbo frets
• Floyd Rose-style double-locking tremolo
• EMG 81 (bridge) / EMG 81 (neck) active pickups
• Black hardware
• Hard case included
Very good. Normal light playwear only. Neck is straight, frets have plenty of life left, and everything works perfectly. Recently set up and ready to play.
A solid, upgraded early Korean KH-202 that punches well above its weight. Great player for metal, hard rock, or anyone wanting that classic Kirk-inspired tone without spending KH-2 money.
