The Epiphone USA Coronet in Vintage Cherry is a faithful reissue of one of Epiphone's earliest and most iconic solid-body electric guitars, originally launched in 1958. Now proudly made in the USA at Gibson's Nashville facility, this model revives the symmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body, gloss nitrocellulose finish, and the distinctive "bikini" headstock badge that defined the original .

This modern Coronet features a set mahogany neck with a comfortable SlimTaper profile and a 24.75" scale length. The Indian rosewood fingerboard has 22 medium jumbo frets and acrylic dot inlays, while the nut width has been slightly widened to 1.695" for improved playability. A Graph Tech nut and vintage-style Deluxe tuners with white buttons ensure tuning stability and smooth performance .

At the heart of the Coronet's tone is a single Gibson P-90 Soapbar pickup, delivering raw, articulate sound with vintage grit. The simple control layout—master volume and tone knobs hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors—keeps the focus on pure tone. A wraparound bridge enhances sustain and resonance, while the lightweight body (around 5 lbs) makes it comfortable for long playing sessions .
