Lovely AC10 twin from around 1966. These are wonderful sounding amps with a nice combination of EF86 and ECC83 channels and a rich . Reportedly Dick Denney’s favourite of his designs (which is something, given that he designed all the JMI Vox classics!)

These amps are a lot more than simply scaled down AC30s although they do generate classic Vox chime at lower volume settings, blooming into sweet, compressed drive when pushed and all at less than ear-destroying volumes. The 2×10 format makes it perfect for home use, recording or moderate venues (where you can always mic it, anyway).

Condition

This is in superb internal and external condition, with its original Elac 10N/85 speakers in place. Internally, it has its original Parmeko transformers and has been kept in excellent working order (it was last PAT tested up to May 2025). As you would expect, there have been some replacement caps and resistors as needed to keep it sounding right. It will also come with its original dust cover, as shown, also in excellent condition.
