Shipping Policy

Vanborn Vintage Guitars offers worldwide shipping.

As a VAT registered business, we are legally required to charge 21% VAT (also known as JCT, GST, HST, SST, PST, RST or QS) on the total order amount.

• VAT inside EU: 21% VAT applies to private buyers within the EU.
• EU businesses (excluding Belgium) with a valid VAT number are exempt (VAT Reverse Charge – Art. 196, VAT Directive 2006/112/CE).
• Outside EU: Orders shipped to NON-European Union (EU) countries do not include VAT. Import duties, tariffs, and customs fees are the buyer’s responsibility and are charged locally on delivery. Please check with your local authorities before ordering.


We use the following parcel shipping services for our worldwide shipping:
• BPOST
• UPS
• FEDEX

All orders will be shipped with tracking via BPOST (unless otherwise stated in the individual listing) and carefully packed at Vanborn Vintage Guitars with industrial grade bubblewrap + (reinforced) cardboard boxes.

Incase of smaller sized items (for example: guitar picks), they will be shipped in bubblewrap envelope mailers via the "Economy" shipping option from BPOST, which means a lower shipping cost for you the buyer, but no active tracking and trace module and a lower insurance / indemnity policy incase of damage or lost shipments. Please note that due to the nature of some items, the economy shipping option might not be possible (even if it is a small sized item), listings in this store that will use the "economy" shipping option will have this clearly stated in the item description.

Incase of a stringed instrument, the strings will be detuned before shipping to prevent tension damage.

Incase of items with tubes/valves (like amplifiers), the tubes/valves will be removed from the item (if possible) and industrial bubblewrapped separately to prevent shipping damage, in this case the tubes/valves will be numbered for easy reinstallation upon unpacking.

Vanborn Vintage Guitars assumes no responsibility for damages during transport or damages caused from any delays beyond its control.
