Hello, and thank you for visiting The Midium reverb page. As purveyors of sound and art, we are curating special brands of synthesizers, effects, controllers, weird music machines, and accessories that also have special stories behind them.
The idea for The Midium came about because my wife, Erin, and I love synthesizers, electronic music, and art; as I have sold some of my own synths and effects units on reverb over the years, we have made some really great friends here along the way. When we factored in how much we love interacting with artists looking for specific tones and technology, and our admiration of the inventors who make it possible, the idea to build The Midium was born!
Erin and I have seen that there's a lot about the buying experience that could be easier and more enjoyable for artists looking for unique music machines. All in all, The Midium is here to help you find truly special brands and inventors who can craft the tools that resonate on all levels with your art and music. At the same time, we're here to make a positive impact on the communities surrounding us, too.
In terms of shipping and packaging, we use only bio-degradable or recyclable materials, such as:
--Recyclable filler and packing
--Recyclable boxes
--Biodegradable packing tape
--Scotch tape made from 65% plant-based or recycled materials
--Recycled and recyclable / biodegradable wrapping paper
The Midium is a labor of love, and as we – Cam and Erin – are both musicians and artists (and our baby girl Melody Nightingale Wednesday is our biggest cheerleader), we're doing something new ans special. Gradually, we will continue growing our collection of carefully curated brands, and enhancing every aspect of your experience with The Midium, as time goes by.

Shipping Policy
At this stage, The Midium can only ship to all 50 states of the United States. We have a view to adding U.S. territories (i.e. Puerto Rico, Guam, etc.) and international destinations in the future.
Return Policy
New Items
Returnable within 14 days of delivery.
Restocking Fee: 15%
Used & Vintage Items
Returnable within 7 days of delivery.
Restocking Fee: 15%
General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
Please note that any Studio Demo units, B-Stock, or Open Box items are final sale. Returns that are not warranty-related are reviewed on a case-by-case basis; since we are a very small independent shop, buy-try-return scenarios increase our costs due to us having to then sell practically new instruments as used items, resulting in them having to be re-sold at a loss. If a unit is suspected to be defective by the buyer, please let us know, and it must be referred to the manufacturer by the buyer as part of the manufacturer’s warranty policy. All Signature Edition items are final sale due to the delicate nature of the autographs and no returns are accepted. Certain types of items cannot be returned, like wearables (such as headphones) and equipment that may come in contact with your mouth (such as microphones or breath controllers), and custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Please ask any questions you have in mind regarding any instruments you plan on buying, anytime, as we encourage researching and planning any addition to your studio.
Lastly, please note that returns for any items––for reasons other than a manufacturer's defect or malfunction where the manufacturer says in writing that the unit should be returned to us—may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. We are a very small company (literally, it's two of us and our baby!), so we need to control our costs as best we can.
