When you’ve been in the music business for 50 years and counting, it’s inevitable that you would get your hands on some pretty amazing instruments. Since the early 70's Skip has been buying and selling all kinds of musical instruments and has collected some real gems, including the first electric guitar. Shipping Policy
GENERAL:
We ship with tracking to the continental United States. Alaska and Hawaii may incur additional shipping charges. Absolutely no shipping outside the US.
BASIC TIMELINE:
I try to ship out Same Day/Next Day. If the piece is coming from our other location, it may take an extra day. But I'll be pretty communicative.
WEDNESDAYS:
We can not ship on Wednesdays. Due to general staffing, we've had to limited our outgoing shipments to Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri. We appreciate your understanding.
FRIDAY/WEEKEND SALES:
Any order placed after the shipping window on Thursday, has the likelihood of not shipping out until Monday at the earliest. If I can get it out before the Friday window, I'll absolutely try. Thanks for your understanding.

General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
We offer a 14 day return option on most of the items that we sell. We are not able to accept returns on the following items: Microphones, Strings, Software/Soundware, Computer Interfaces with Software, Printed Materials that are Copyrighted, Amplifier/Pre-Amp Tubes, Earbuds, Earplugs, Recorders, any item with a Mouthpiece, Harmonicas, Raw-Frame Speakers, Drumheads, Drumsticks, Turntable Cartridges, Fog Fluid.
Whenever possible (with the exclusion of the above items), we will replace any defective item. If the item is not replaceable, we will refund your purchase. Open, early communication, including Reverb/email Messages, pictures/video, will help all parties have a reasonable exchange
COLLECTION/CONSIGNMENT PIECES:
- All items are shipped from Skip’s only after being thoroughly inspected and tested
- All “Collection/Consignment items are FINAL SALE, and any questions/issues are to be discussed before purchasing (email/Phone/Reverb chat/Podium/etc.)
MANUFACTURER DEFECTS:
- All items are shipped from Skip’s only after being thoroughly inspected and tested
- Any items that have any known issues, are clearly indicated on the listings through pictures and text
- Should there be a verifiable Manufactures Defect, that wasn’t originally noticed, an appropriate refund will be issued (please see shipping policy)
DAMAGED PRODUCT:
All efforts are taken to package every item with care and safety in mind. Pictures are taken prior to shipping, so there’s at least some basic verification of a product’s status before shipment. Should you believe anything happened during shipping (box issue, shipping damage, etc), please consider trying to:
- Speak with the driver if you get the chance
- Make sure they notate that they know about the damage
- Take pictures of the box before your open it (video of opening is even better)
- Take pictures of any damage
SHIPPING DAMAGE:
- With shipments involving shipping damage, the buyer is responsible for filing a shipping claim with the shipper.
- We’re happy to help connect you with the appropriate contacts to the best of our ability
RETURN SHIPPING:
- All Return Shipping back to Skip’s is the buyer’s responsibility, including packaging and shipping costs
- Items must be shipped to us in the original factory packaging complete with the warranty card and owner’s manual, all paperwork and accessories such as power cords, software, owner’s manuals, straps, cases, etc. and show no signs of use, wear or abuse; otherwise the return will either be refused or subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%
- Please re-pack the product carefully to help avoid shipping damage
RETURNS/REFUNDS:
- All items will be inspected and tested before any appropriate Refund is issued
- Refunds will be issued within 7 business days from receipt of goods at our location.
- Refunds are made for product value only, excluding shipping charges.
