Hi, I'm Phil Oftedahl. I've been playing guitar since I was 13 years old. I tried to start a custom guitar shop but I'm forced to close up shop. I am currently liquidating all my parts inventory. I know what the parts are for, how they're used except for some of the electrical parts. My Electrical Guy purchased a bunch of stuff that we never used.
I'm also selling virtually all my gear. With few exceptions, it all must go. I'll continue to do repairs and custom work for friends. You may notice that most of my gear is at the top end of the pricing scale. The reason for this multi fold. First, it is all in mint or excellent condition. It has been my personal equipment which I baby very carefully. Second, it most likely has been upgraded in some way. Such as new hardware like locking tuners, new necks, new pickups or other items. Lastly, no one believes your asking price, everyone wants a deal or just to haggle to see if they can get you as low as possible. So I quit loading my price to the best price to something just a tad higher. Those are the reasons, agree or not. I'm hoping to narrow down to my acoustic guitars, acoustic amp, my small effects amp for an Esquire I'm building. Then that's it. I've quit any and all "bands" including my Worship Team because politics reign supreme along with too much drama. I'm going to be 74 in March 2024.
