Shipping Policy

Yes. Most certainly. Our physical shop, Klundert Music, is located in The Netherlands, but shipping instruments safely across the globe is no problem for us. We are lucky to benefit from one of the best organized shipping facilities in the world and we are very experienced with shipping instruments and other gear to export territories.

Smooth sailin'!
If you are located outside if the European Union we can guide you clearly through the process of what it means to import an order and what you should expect in terms of additional expenses and ETA's. We will sort out all the paperwork for the shipment and we can help you with all communication with customs in case something unforeseen comes up.

Safety first!
Our instruments are shipped in custom made, heavy duty cartons that we fill with airbags that provide suspension, but keep the content in its place secure. Most of the guitars listed in our Reverb shop come including the original cases or gigbags but in case they don't; we always have a stash of boxes from incoming stock that we can use to pack a guitar into and ship it box-in-box.

Shipping rates.
We ship free of charge within the Netherlands and in most cases within the European Union as well. There are exceptions here, as some Eastern EU countries -for some reason- are extremely expensive to ship to. For export territories (outside of the European Union) we charge you the actual shipping rates, no additional handling fees or taxes.
IMPORTANT NOTE; we ship exclusively using the services of the well known cargo carriers like Fedex, UPS, DPD or DHL and your shipment always comes with a track & trace record. Our missing-cargo-rate is zero.
We will not ship using (local) postal services. Yes, they are cheaper but very unreliable and a huge pain in the ass if something goes wrong along the way. We don't want that hassle, you don't wan't that hassle. Trust us; pay those extra few bucks for a reliable, traceable shipment. It is well spend.

IMPORTant Disclaimer;
Please note that shipments to locations outside of the European Union (may) come with import duties (sales taxes / local VAT and custom's fee's) and that the buyer is the importing party. Any additonal expenses are charged to the buyer and Klundert Music can not be held liable for any extra charges.
We do our very best to organize a smooth shipment, but there's always a possibillity that customs can ask for additional information or declarations. It is up to you, as an importer, to keep track of the parcel as well once it is in transit. Always contact us as soon as possible in case customs file a requirement or contact you for whatever reason. We can help you with that. The sooner we act, the sooner your parcel will be cleared, the lower the customs fees will be.
