The iconic GAK store sits proudly in the heart of Brighton's famous North Laines and has done for over 30 years. One of the UK's largest independent Musical Instrument Retailers, GAK is not only a tourist destination and treasure trove full of everything from beginner's instruments to rare, collectable and vintage equipment, but is frequented by some of the industry's most prestigious musicians and producers.
Our massive stock holding and a huge catalogue of brands mean that there is something for musicians of every type.

We currently offer shipping to the UK Mainland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands and Highlands and select countries in Europe.
Our office hours are 9:00 am- 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
IMPORTANT: For buyers in the EU, please be aware that the price you see has the UK VAT of 20% removed from the advertised price. Taxes will have to be paid on the item at your local tax rate once it arrives in your country (this process is handled by our international courier, DPD). Unfortunately, we cannot refund international shipping costs once an item has been dispatched from our warehouse.
Unfortunately, we cannot currently ship to the Maldives or the Canary Islands
In instances where items are returned to us without originally included accessories or packaging, GAK reserves the right to withhold a restocking fee.

We are unable to falsely declare the value of goods for customs purposes.
For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns on earbuds (sold individually or as part of a set or system) where the hygiene sale has been broken on the box.
Responsibility for ownership of the goods passes to the purchaser once we have delivered them.
Unless otherwise advised, delivery will be made by a fully insured courier service, within normal business hours. A signature at this address will be required.
Unfortunately, GAK can in no circumstances, compensate for delayed orders.
Damages/shortages must be notified within 24 hours of delivery - GAK cannot be held responsible for transit damage if reported after 24 hours of delivery.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
