Handling time is 1 DAY for items in our store inventory. For items that are not in our own store inventory (MOST ITEMS THAT ARE ADVERTISED AS “STOCK LISTINGS”), handling time before shipping is usually 2 or 3 days but sometimes up to 5 business days.
Buyers may inquire for more information on expected shipping time.
Seller reserves the right to use alternate mode of shipping (USPS, UPS, etc.) at seller's discretion.
All international shipping quotes include a 4% surcharge to cover expenses we incur for the shipping amount.
NOTE: Whenever FREE “Standard Shipping” (we currently use FedEx) is offered on our items, it only applies to the lower 48 continental states, unless specified differently in the listing. International and other US customers may inquire for quotes and shipping options. We sometimes offer discounted rates to other locations, in consideration of the FREE shipping to the lower 48.
NOTE 2: FedEx and UPS do not deliver to PO Boxes (only USPS does). For items that we advertise with standard shipping, the item must ship to a physical street address. Buyers using Paypal MUST have a physical street address as the ship-to address and it MUST appear in the shipping details of the Paypal receipt that we receive. No exceptions.
International buyers please inquire and provide a postal code for a shipping quote before initiating a purchase with the Buy It Now. Note that US shipping charges do not apply to international shipments.
Shipping to Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other US territories are not eligible for “Standard Shipping” rates. Customers from those locations and Alaska must inquire for a shipping quote before initiating a purchase. Also, buyers with certain government and/or military (APO/FPO, etc.) addresses are NOT eligible for lower 48 US shipping rates and need to inquire for a shipping quote before initiating a purchase.
International buyers note: FedEx or UPS shipping to many locations. Where eligible, USPS Priority available to confirmed PayPal addresses when that payment method is used. Buyers may inquire for options.
AUSTRALIAN BUYERS’ NOTE: The USPS Priority International Mail size limit to Australia is just 79 total inches (length plus girth) which is too small to ship a full-size guitar there with that option. The only possible way to get a full-size instrument in that range for the Priority Mail rate is for us to remove the neck for shipping with the buyer responsible to reinstall it upon arrival (a small fee applies for the neck removal). Obviously, this is not possible with a neck-thru guitar. Shipping via FedEx “best day” economy on a standard full-size guitar typically costs between $175 and $250, depending on the type of guitar and the specific destination. We need a city and postal code to an accurate quote. Other shipping options for larger items to Australia are UPS and USPS Global Express, but those are generally more expensive. Typical rates with Global Express are between $250 and $350, depending on package size and weight and if there is a case involved.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS NOTE 2: Be aware that there will likely be import taxes charged on your item upon arrival in the destination country. Any questions you have related to this should be directed to your country’s Customs Office, as we are in no way connected with that aspect of the sale. For shipments to Australia, items under $1000 AUD have been noted to be exempt from import taxation. Australia Customs should be contacted or the agency website consulted by the buyer to confirm any charges that may apply, since policies sometimes change or are updated. Items over 1000 AUD have always been liable for import taxation.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS NOTE 3: We do not ship to secondary or alternate addresses when the Paypal payment method is used, but only to the verified AND approved addresses listed on buyers’ Paypal accounts.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS NOTE 4: We only declare factual information, including full price, of items sold. We do not falsify customs documents for international sales.

Returns, for reason other than defect that went undetected before we shipped the item, are subject to a 10% restocking fee (15% on items $50-$200, or less 20% on items 49.99 or less). Items returned in condition other than as was advertised and sent by the seller are subject to an additional charge that would be based on the severity of any blemishing or damage caused by the buyer due to negligence while the item is in the possession of the buyer or due to poor or improper packaging for return. Instrument cases sold separately are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Drum sets, add-on pieces, and Deccabons are subject to a 20% restocking fee. In some return situations, at seller’s discretion, buyers will be required to provide photos or video of any reported issues with an item. For cancellation of a paid order after an item is already in transit to us from a supplier to fill that order, a stocking fee of 5% or $25 charge, whichever is greater, will be charged for us to absorb the item into our in-house inventory.
String breakage and/or string condition are NOT valid reason for a return request. Strings will need to be changed periodically on the instruments and sometimes strings on items that have been in inventory for a while can have light tarnishing and sometimes they come from the factory that way. We typically change strings, if we feel it's warranted.
Rectifiable situations, such as missing parts or inserts that can be provided to the buyer after the fact or reasonable adjustments / corrections, whether due to change in environment (climate) or shipping jostling, are not a valid reason to request a return.
Note that ONLY the items pictured in the ad are included in the sale. Please understand that the item coloration may be slightly different than as it appears in the ad due to differences in computer monitors and mobile device screens.
Typographical errors are not typical for us, but occur on rare occasion. We apologize and appreciate your understanding in cases where there is 1) an unintentional oversight, 2) something mentioned in a manufacturer description that changed on newer runs of the same model without our knowledge, 3) or otherwise. Those are not valid reasons for a return request when a comparable change was made in the specifications. This includes, tuning machines, pre-amps, etc.
When a manufacturer's warranty can be utilized to correct an unforeseen situation, buyers are expected to pursue that option, rather than requesting or initiating a return request.
Items posted for "Local Pickup Only" that we agree to ship are sold as-is. We do make effort to disclose anything we are aware of about our items, but we do not always describe or picture local pickup items to the same degree as items we post for shipping. Please buy with that understanding.
Return window for USA custom and other collectible items is limited to 7 days.
