Badges Drum Shop was founded by Charlie Andrews, a drummer and drum gear aficionado determined to honor the best brands and badges in the business while giving drummers a place to find and talk great gear with someone who understands them.
At Badges Drum Shop we believe drumming to be the heart and soul of music, a sacred tool for human expression and healing. This shop is therefore a project of passion and joy we hope you'll share with us.
Whether you're looking for advice on the best gear for you, needing supplies for the gear you already have, or just want to talk drums and drummers and their music, we're here for you.
What you'll get at Badges Drum Shop:
• SELECTION. We’re stocked with essentials plus unique options not available in big music stores. We also welcome custom orders and have the expertise to help you.
• EXPERIENCE. We know drums and drumming. Looking for a certain sound? We know the combinations of materials and sizes to get it. Our cymbal room even features a demo kit so you can hear how sounds blend before you buy.
• VALUE. We carefully select the best quality at each price point and sell at the same minimum advertised price as big online retailers.
Shipping Policy
Badges Drum Shop is committed to getting your gear to you safely and in excellent condition.
• Domestic shipping: We ship only to verified physical street addresses (no PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses) within the continental United States.
• International shipping: Please email the item title and your address with postal code to [email protected] for a custom shipping price.
• Manufacturer restrictions may prohibit the shipping of certain products to certain destinations.
• Free shipping offers are at the discretion of Badges Drum Shop and only applicable to shipments of certain items within the continental United States.
• Shipping rates are calculated for individual items based on average weights and sizes for each class of goods and averages delivery distances. It is never our intention to charge extra for shipping. If shipping appears high for your location or for multiple items combined into one order, we will be happy to get a custom quote for your order. • We ship most of our domestic orders via UPS Ground or USPS depending on the item's size, weight, and destination.
• We ship most of our international orders via DHL. On occasion, certain shipments may be sent via USPS depending on the item's size, weight, and destination.
• Most orders ship within 48 business hours of order verification. Our small shop is closed on Sundays and Mondays, so if you order on a Friday or Saturday, your order will ship on Tuesday.
• We recycle packaging, selecting package sizes to optimize shipment safety and cost.
• Heavy and oversized items may incur additional shipping charges.

General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
Badges Drum Shop wants you to be happy with your purchase. Any new* stock item that does not meet your expectations can be returned within 14 business days of delivery for a refund, credit, or exchange. Please be aware we proudly display many of our new items. As a result, some items labelled as brand new may have stick marks from tuning or demoing.
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all shipping costs unless the item received was not the item described.
RETURNS PROCESS
Badges Drum Shop accepts returns of only new, unused items within 14 days of your receiving it. To return a new, unused item to us, you must follow these steps:
• Contact us first for a return authorization at 513-972-8203 or [email protected]. Returns without prior authorization will be refused.
• Please do not send your purchase to the manufacturer. All returns and exchanges of items purchased through Badges Drum Shop must be processed by Badges Drum Shop.
• Return item(s) unused and free of any signs of use, wear, stick marks, smudges, and/or fingerprints. The item(s) will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
• Include all pieces in original packaging with all provided accessories, documentation (manuals, CDs, instructions, warranty cards, etc.). and original sales receipt.
• Please ensure that the item is packed safely for the return shipment with the customer return authorization (CRMA) number clearly written on the box.
• Prepay for return shipping which will be at your cost and provide tracking information to us when item is shipped. You are 100% responsible for the item until we receive the item at Badges Drum Shop, 127 West Main Street, Mason, OH 45040, 513-972-8203. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We suggest using a reputable shipper that provides tracking information and insuring the package for the original purchase price.
• Upon our receipt of item at Badges Drum Shop, credit will be applied to your account according to the form of the original payment.
• Please note the original shipping amount you paid will not be refunded. If the item was shipped free to you, our original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
Several types of goods are exempt from returns and exchanges.
• B-stock items, discontinued items, demo items, sale or clearance items, custom orders and non-stock items are not eligible for return or exchange.
• Drumheads that have been played or seated on a drum are not eligible for return or exchange.
• Vintage or used equipment is not eligible for return or exchange. For this reason, it is the buyer’s responsibility to look carefully at the images we provide and read the descriptions. If you need additional images or details, please ask prior to buying. Please be aware the information we have relative to history is limited to what the seller provides us.
• Perishable goods are not eligible for return or exchange.
• Gift cards are not eligible for return or exchange.
• Downloadable software products are not eligible for return or exchange.
Limits: Badges Drum Shop allows a maximum of two returns per customer per year, starting from the date of the first returned item. Badges Drum Shop reserves the right to limit or suspend the return privileges for anyone we believe to be abusing return privileges with excessive returns.
Exchanges: We only replace stock items and only if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at [email protected].
Warranty Returns: Warranty returns must be accompanied by a Return Authorization Number (RA#) as required by most manufacturers. Prior to returning an item, please email us at [email protected] to obtain an RA#. If the manufacturer requires it, photographic evidence of the problem may be requested before an RA# can be issued. If this is the case, Badges Drum Shop will advise.
