Video: Annie Clark of St. Vincent Talks Gear and Influence at NAMM 2017

Annie Clark of St. Vincent is influenced by who she dubs "guitar antiheroes," like Marc Ribot and Robert Fripp. And even though modern pop may not be so guitar obsessed lately, she believes that no genres of music ever really die out – everything is invented and reinvented into something new and interesting by players who find themselves bored with the status quo.

Annie Clark also talked with Jim in the above video about moving from writing her guitar parts in MIDI and recording into GarageBand to using Pro Tools and Logic to record her music. She talked a bit about her stage pedal setup, as well.
