Steinberg Releases Absolute 4 Plugin Collection

German hardware and software company Steinberg started the first day of NAMM off strong with the announcement and immediate release of Absolute 4—the fourth generation of the company's robust collection of standalone instruments and plugins for VST, AU, and AAX hosts.

And robust it is—Absolute 4 contains over 100 GB of sounds and virtual instruments, truly thousands of presets and samples alongside 10 state-of-the-art instruments. This includes HALion 6, an extremely powerful sample and sound creation instrument, the HALion Sonic 3, and Groove Agent 5 virtual drummer.

Players can also find excellent piano emulations with the Grand 3, get a virtual analog synthesizer with the Retrologue 2, or a granular synth with the Padshop Pro 2. And if this isn't enough for you, Absolute 4 also features expansions, like the Rock Essentials Style Expansion for Groove Agent, for even more sonic possibility.

The entire Absolute 4 plugin collection is currently available for 499 Euros. Be sure to keep up with the rest of our ongoing NAMM 2019 coverage by clicking the orange banner below.
