The Europa synth has long been a powerful instrument within Propellerhead’s Reason music software program—but today, for the first time, it’s available as a standalone plugin, able to be used inside any DAW of your choosing.
Europa is a wavetable synthesizer, which means that the generated sound can cycle through different “positions” or waveforms from a sampled audio source, morphing through different timbres and tonalities as you play a melody or progression.
Propellerhead’s flagship soft synth comes equipped with more than 30 wavetable engine models, 24 filters, and more than 500 presets. In addition, you can load your own samples to create as many wavetables as you can imagine.
Because the possibilities are so open-ended, we’ve created demo tracks below that showcase a range of tones you can achieve. But with four envelopes, three LFOs, and built-in effects, there’s no limit to the pads, soundscapes, leads, and other sounds you can create.
