Video: New Bass Releases From Serek, Rivolta, Dingwall, and Dunable

Yesterday, on the first day of NAMM 2020, we ran around the showroom floor to find all the latest and greatest gear. In our video above, we check in with some of our favorite bass brands, including Serek, Rivolta, Dingwall, and Dunable, to see their new 2020 models.

Jake Serek's latest is a short-scale Grand that features a built-in fuzz circuit. It's "an onboard, super-simple fuzz circuit for people to just plug and play." Between that and the TV Jones Thundertron pickup, you'll be able to lay down some thunderous lines.

Rivolta will be releasing its very first bass—the Combinata Bass VII—based off the body shape of its Combinata guitar series. It has a C-shaped neck that will feel comfortable immediately in the hands of guitarists.

Dingwall D-Roc Standard 2019 Gloss Metalflake Aquamarine

Dingwall's D-Roc Standard series is getting a 5-string variant, and one particularly flashy finish in the way of Aquamarine Metalflake, or "something to bring home to show mom," as Joe says.

Finishing our roundup is Dunable's Yeti bass, which features the same 35-inch scale familiar to other Dunable basses and single-coil pickups in the shape of humbuckers. While the model has been available before as a custom-order only, it will now be a standard production bass from the brand.
