The XVP25K is a low-impedance volume pedal designed for use after effects pedals, in an amplifier's effects loop, or with instruments equipped with active pickups. Unlike the XVP-250K, which is designed for guitars with passive pickups, the 25K version perfectly preserves the signal from active circuits without any tonal loss. Made with a die-cast aluminum housing, a high-quality audio potentiometer, hand-wired 100 % cable, and a rack and pinion mechanism replacing the traditional string system, it offers an extremely smooth, precise, and durable action. Its size, approximately two-thirds the size of a standard volume pedal, makes it ideal for compact pedalboards while maintaining a very natural feel of control. It also features a tuner output (Tuner Out) for tuning your guitar without interrupting the main signal. Being entirely passively powered, it requires no external power supply. Thanks to its transparency, robustness and build quality, the XVP-25K is considered one of the best compact volume pedals on the market for low impedance setups.
