- Stylus Condition: The stylus was inspected with a Shure SEK-2 microscope and showed no wear.

- Tracking: Passed tracking test using of the Ortofon Test Record tracking up to 90 micrometers (µm) of lateral amplitude at a 315 Hz modulation frequency without any audible distortion. 

- Sound Imaging: it delivers a very deep, three-dimensional soundstage with precise instrument placement, magnificent midrange realism, and deep, well-defined bass.

Pickering XSV-3000 is a vintage moving-magnet stereo phono cartridge introduced in 1977. It utilizes a low-mass Samarium Cobalt magnet and a unique Stereohedron line-contact stylus designed for exceptional groove tracing and reduced record wear. It is renowned for deep dynamic bass, a strong midrange, and a clean, detailed high end.
