Selling an original, unrestored Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer. This machine has always been well cared for in my home studio and is in excellent working condition, offering the authentic experience of a factory-original unit.

Functional Condition:

• Audio & Controls: The volume pots are smooth and not noisy. The tone controls are functioning exactly as they should.
• Original Components: This is a fully operational but unrestored 1980s piece. The tact switches are the original factory components. They trigger as they should, but they possess the characteristic feel of original 40-year-old hardware, not fresh modern replacements.

Cosmetic Condition & Extras:

• Included Extra: Comes with the original clear plastic factory overlay—a fantastic and rare inclusion that highlights the original, unmolested nature of this machine.
• Hardware Wear: There is visible wear on the metal housing on the posterior (back) of the machine. Please review the provided photos carefully to see this wear firsthand.
• Overall, the faceplate presents very well for a genuine, unpolished vintage piece.

This is an honest, completely functional player's machine for someone who values true original factory condition over a heavily refurbished unit.
