The Tru Tuner Rapid Drum Head Replacement System is so brilliantly simple and convenient, once you pick one up, you'll wonder how you ever got by without it. Here's how it works. You start by attaching the special chrome-plated drum keys on each of your drum's tuning lugs. Next, you use the color-coded rings and lined ridges on the Tru Tuner to guide each key into its hole. Sweetwater drummers were delighted to discover that the Tru Tuner accommodates most drums between 8" and 16". Finally, you grab the central handle and work the disc in a circle. That's it! With every lug turning together, you can remove your drum's hoop, swap out the head, and tension it back up in about the time it takes to loosen four lugs the old-fashioned way.
