2005 – Pre-Production Example – Ex-Bernie Marsden

An exceptional and highly collectible 2005 Marshall JTM45/100 Head, previously owned by the late, great Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake). This is a pre-production example with no serial number, making it an incredibly rare piece of modern Marshall history. The released 40th Anniversary sets were limited to 250 worldwide.

The JTM45/100 reissue was built to honour the earliest high-power Marshall amps from 1965/66 — the era that shaped the tones of Clapton, Hendrix and Page. With its KT66 power section, dual output transformers and classic plexi cosmetics, this setup delivers the unmistakable early-Marshall roar: huge low end, open mids and singing harmonic complexity.

This pre-production head was used by Bernie Marsden and came directly from his collection, adding significant provenance for collectors and fans alike. In terms of tone and feel, this is as close as you can get to the original JTM45/100 experience without venturing into six-figure vintage territory.

Condition is excellent throughout, fully tested by our tech and performing exactly as it should.
