This is a circuit developed by Josh Scott in his JHS Short Circuit series podcast.
It is an LPB-1 booster topology tweaked to the point of serving as a very interesting drive that can even go to fuzz territory. A dedicated switch will add Germanium diodes to the circuit to make for a tighter, vintage sounding distortion. I added an extra "Body" knob for better bass/treble shaping: treble side makes a more mids oriented overdrive or distortion, and the bass side helps going into thicker, more gain fuzz-face territory. Also, the transistors and collector resistors are socketed so you can explore and have fun with different ones, change its tonal characteristics etc.
I am a visual artist and musician from Valparaiso, Chile, and sometimes I like to build pedals and decorate them for fun with my own artwork.
Lots of fun exploring this very unique, versatile circuit. Works as it should. Selling only to finance other projects.
