Selling my rare Southampton Fifth Gear Mini — an iconic, discontinued micro-overdrive that has become extremely hard to find.
This one is Serial Number #22, dated December 6th, 2014.
I bought it on Reverb about 2.5 months ago for €239.
I’m only selling because I'm downsizing my collection.
Condition
- Works perfectly, no functional issues.
- Cosmetics are very good overall, with normal signs of age.
- Small grey paint mark near the “+” power marking — this seems to come from Southampton themselves (several early units show similar variations).
- No box.

This is the original micro version — the one that made the Fifth Gear famous.
A dynamic, amp-like overdrive that stacks beautifully, reacts perfectly to picking dynamics, and can go from clean boost to gritty, punchy breakup.
