Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a loud and proud 1985 Martin D35 Dreadnought that's truly a well voiced cannon.  It has received a great deal of care and repairs in our luthier's shop and it's ready to roll.  The D35 was introduced at the onset of Rosewood import bans as a way for Martin to utilize smaller pieces of Rosewood and they lucked upon an iconic cannon of a Dreadnought.  It features the same X-Braced construction that gave Martin guitars their unmistakable tone and clarity.  When you hear a Martin, you know it's a Martin.  The 1985 D35 features solid Indian Rosewood Back and sides, a solid Spruce top, and an Ebony fretboard and bridge.

The nut measures 1.72", neck depth is .83"-.88" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a comfy C profile that everyone will recognize.  The neck is straight and the relief currently provides optimum playability.  There are a few scratches, dings, and dents as pictured.  This beauty has had number of previous repairs including a neck reset, heel cap replacement, bridge reattached and binding repair.  Our luthier repaired both X-Braces as pictured, leveled the frets, crowned them to perfection, and gave them a mirror polish.  Great saddle height, action is at 5/64 and 3.5/64 for an effortless playing experience.  It is in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing.  Comes safely packed and fully insured in the Yairi branded hard case in the photos.
