2002 Gibson Custom Shop Gary Rossington Tom Murphy-aged (one of his first runs) right-handed R9. You can search the internet and you will find plenty of demo videos but won't find a bad word said. Mine has a very dark fingerboard* (especially compared to all others I have seen for sale) and there's a debate online about whether or not the first 70 had Brazilian Rosewood. This is #60! Plenty of attention to detail: aged gold hardware, dark pickup ring screws, faked headstock break in the form of 2 screws either side of the truss rod cover (headstock is NOT broken, this is just to mimic Gary's original burst, which is now in the Hall of Fame, next to Duanes...). Burstbucker pups, Grey Tiger PIO caps, plated brass bridge posts & double thumbwheels, lightweight aluminium stop bar, Grover tuners (gold - Uber-cool). Note: no drill-holes - my tuners have never been swapped out... Set up for 10-46 with Gibson Vintage Reissue strings. A shade over 9lbs, I think (no suitable scale). Soft case in one photo is not included. Same for amps in photos - not included. Original brown/pink-lined case. All case candy pictured incl. period correct COA. Come and try this 24-year old Standard thru a choice of vintage tube amps.
