Side Show Drums uses vintage suitcases and a combination of new and used drum hardware to build one of a kind, custom suitcase drums. Each item they build is a combination of suitcase, parts, and pieces brought together to make a truly unique instrument for you to enjoy. This vintage American Tourister suitcase measures approximately 7" deep, 18" high and 22" wide.
The exterior of the case is a durable plastic material, and the interior has been re-lined to help protect whatever additional gear you store inside.
The bass pedal mount has been attached permanently to the bottom of the case and features a rubber top to help secure your pedal.
All the latches on the case still function properly, although the locks have been disabled (they tend to rattle) and there is no key.

Two floor tom brackets and legs have been added to the exterior face of the suitcase, making it extremely stable and easy to set up.
The 3" port gives it extra projection and allows you the option of using a microphone for more volume or studio recording.

You can achieve a wide variety of sounds by using different bass beaters, but these tend to sound best with a flat faced cajon beater.

Due to the height of the case, you may need to shorten the shaft on your bass drum beater.
There are definite signs wear and use on the outside of the suitcase.
