Very rare Roland R-880 Digital Reverb with original GC8 remote control plus data cable, all in very good condition. Comes with the original factory ROM card with all sounds and presets.
I bought this for a particular recording project, used with no issues, now no longer needed so offering it here.
It was fully serviced recently (by the previous owner) and some caps were replaced with good quality up-to-date caps that should last for many more years. The screen on the GC8 has also been replaced with a brand new blue one matching the original. The battery in the remote has also been replaced in March 2023 with years left to run.
From the previous owner "The depth of reverb parameters is quite astonishing, with chorus and delays also possible and finally, a compressor. The sound quality of the R880 is true stereo. It's easy to see why these cost £3000 when released. At current prices, there's nothing to touch the R880 in terms of its sound quality and facilities."
