This bass is a workhorse. It has myriad imperfections little pings and scratches, but the neck is easily played and even with the superficial scratches,the ,looks are rugged, the mirrored pick guard is a powerful reflector on stage,. I am the third owner, my last bass player was the second, and a close friend was the first., intonation is perfect, tone is EMG clean,clear and capable of beautiful tones and big balls when called for. Never been exposed to excessive humidity,and sounds great in front of an Ampeg SVT and couples beautifully with effects. All frets are completely audible anywhere on the neck.
