Vintage Abe Rivera Custom 6-String Electric Bass Guitar w/ Gig Bag

Hey now! You're looking at an incredibly cool, and unique vintage bass.

This is an Abe Rivera Custom 6-String Electric Bass Guitar.

It weighs 10 lbs 3 oz. 36" scale, 2.22" nut width, 25 fret.

Abe Rivera was a custom guitar/bass luthier well known for his ornate carving and inlay work.

He's considered one of the master luthier's of all time, and used to build his basses/guitars to order.

All of his instruments are of the highest quality and craftsmanship, not to mention extremely rare and highly regarded.

The neck-thru design gives you great natural resonance and tone transfer. 5 piece body appears to be Walnut and Maple.

Dual Bartolini single coil pickups.

This 6-string is a very early example, and as you can see from all the photos, it has many stories to tell.

It was just setup, so the neck is straight and the frets are clean.

Cosmetically, vintage mojo is an understatement. All the normal playwear of marks/scratches, some nice finish checking, finish wear (almost completely off the neck), tons of dings/dents, and some oxidation/pitting.
