The Yamaha MGX16 is a 22-channel digital mixing console for live sound, recording, podcasting, and streaming. Its eight mono and four stereo channels, plus a Sound Pad and two FX channels, accommodate a mix of microphones, instruments, and stereo sources. Eight mic/line combo inputs and eight line inputs provide connection options for different sources, while four headphone outputs support monitoring by multiple listeners.

Shape mixes with eight MIX buses, two FX buses, a CUE bus, and a STEREO bus. Built-in DSP processing includes gate, compression, EQ, reverb, amp simulation, and voice-changing effects. The touchscreen, sixteen 60 mm faders, and hands-on encoders give you direct control over settings and levels. For recording and playback, USB supports 22 tracks, while microSD supports up to 16-track recording and two-track playback. Bluetooth audio input also lets a compatible device send audio to the console.
