Sabian XSR 12" Splash Cymbal

The Sabian XSR 12" Splash delivers fast, bright response with the snap and articulation needed for quick, splashy punches and accents that cut through any mix. Its extra-thin profile generates immediate attack and quick decay, making it responsive under the stick without demanding heavy hand technique. This cymbal sits comfortably between entry-level and professional-grade instruments, offering legitimate sound quality at a price point designed to fit a working drummer's budget.

Tone & Sonic Character

Built from pure Sabian B20 Bronze with enhanced profiles and a reshaped bell, the XSR 12" produces a bright, focused sound ideal for cutting accents and splashy effects in recording sessions and live performance. The extra-thin weight and focused voice make this splash particularly effective in contexts where clarity and definition matter—from jazz to funk to rock applications. In the studio, its immediate articulation translates clearly to tape, while live it cuts through the full kit without muddying the mix.

Construction & Design

Sabian engineered this cymbal using trickle-down technology from their award-winning Evolution and X-Plosion lines, ensuring legitimate craftsmanship and materials without the flagship price tag.
