SABIAN 14" XSR X-Celerator Hat Top

The SABIAN 14" XSR X-Celerator Hat Top delivers the bright, cutting response and foot control that live drummers demand. These cymbals cut through dense mixes with lively, responsive stick definition across any genre. The grooved edge design on the bottom hat eliminates air trapping, giving you immediate, predictable response every time you close the pedal—essential for tight timing on stage.

Tonal Character & Response

Built from B20 alloy (80% copper, 20% tin with silver traces), this pair produces a bright, cutting, lively tone with excellent clarity and projection that carries in live settings. The medium top/heavy bottom weight configuration delivers quick response with controlled, defined stick articulation—tight enough for precision playing, substantial enough to cut through the band and hold up under repeated takes.

Construction & Design

Sabian's pinpoint hammering and lathing with reshaped bells create focused, defined stick attack and consistent performance night after night. The signature grooved edge on the bottom hat improves foot response by eliminating trapped air, while the overall design ensures reliable, predictable cymbal behavior in any playing situation—studio, stage, or rehearsal space.
