The Les Paul Studio boasts specifications very close to the Les Paul Standard, but achieves cost-effectiveness by eliminating the plain maple body top and body and neck binding.

The pickups are the classic Gibson combination of 490R and 498T. They deliver a clear yet powerful Gibson character, allowing for a wide range of sounds from clean tones to powerful distortion.
