For sale is a stunning 1997 Gibson Tal Farlow Custom Shop in a beautiful and rarely seen Wine Red finish. This is the higher-tier Custom Shop model, not the lower-tier “Master” edition. These guitars are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially in this kind of condition.

The Tal Farlow is one of Gibson’s great professional-level archtops and is in the same realm as the Gibson L-5 in terms of craftsmanship, tone, feel, and overall quality. It has a wonderfully rich, warm jazz tone with excellent clarity and exceptional playability.

This example has been extremely well cared for and remains in excellent condition. It has never been gigged and has been pampered throughout its life. There are no cracks, no repairs, and no wear. The guitar plays beautifully and presents exceptionally well.

It comes with its original Gibson hardshell case, also very well cared for.
