This Xotic BB Preamp Plus is in near-mint condition and was tested in our shop prior to listing. The BB Preamp Plus is a compact overdrive/preamp pedal built around a MOSFET-based circuit designed to produce warm, touch-sensitive breakup with broad tonal shaping capability. The two-band active EQ — with bass and treble controls — gives the pedal significant range from clean boost through medium overdrive, and the MOSFET clipping architecture is known for producing soft-clipping saturation with an open, amp-like feel. The Plus version expands on the original BB Preamp with an additional gain stage and internal trimmers that allow further voice customization.

The BB Preamp Plus is a single-channel overdrive and boost pedal housed in a compact aluminum enclosure. Xotic built a strong reputation for boutique-quality signal chain tools, and the BB Preamp series has been a mainstay in that lineup. Controls include Volume, Gain, Bass, and Treble, with the Plus version adding a second internal gain stage accessed via internal DIP switches or trimmers depending on the production run. True bypass switching is standard on this platform. Input impedance, output level, and the active EQ make it useful both as a standalone drive and as a clean boost in front of an already-driven amp.

The pedal shows no visible wear consistent with near-mint condition. No repairs, modifications, or issues are present.
