The IsoAcoustics Delos 1815M1 is a 1-3/4" Maple butcher block isolation platform for turntables and sensitive source components, carrying up to 65 lbs (29.5 kg). It combines the mass of a solid hardwood block with 4 IsoAcoustics isolators recessed into the underside, so the deck is decoupled from the shelf or cabinet it stands on and structure borne vibration does not reach the stylus.
Maple Butcher Block
Maple gives the block a light amber tone with a tight, even grain. The block is finished on all faces and rates 1450 on the Janka hardness scale.
